Ryan Clark seeks Madison City Council Dist. 5 seat
MADISON – Ryan Clark has announced his intention to run for Madison City Council District 5 in the upcoming Aug. 25 municipal election.
“I want Madison to prosper and thrive and now is a vital time for the city to be prepared for what the future holds,’ Clark said about reason to run for the position. “I am running because I have a long-term investment. My wife is pregnant with our first child and I want Madison to continue to be a destination for families to call home. I will work to make sure we have the resources to maintain and build our infrastructure, our schools to continue to be the best in that state, our parks and recreations have the support they need, while supporting retail and business development as well as residential growth.”
Clark is a life-long Madison resident. “After graduating from West Point and serving my country in Afghanistan it was only natural for my wife and I to move back to Madison to start our family,” he stated. “I feel that my military service and now working for a defense company have given me an insight into why people want to move to Madison. It’s a great place to raise a family and work.”
Clark listed as his goals if elected:
“Madison needs to be prepared for the future now more than ever. We need to implement and execute the comprehensive growth plan to make sure we are prepared,’ Clark said. “This is one thing my military career has taught me. Our infrastructure, residential growth and schools must have the support we need to succeed.”
