City of Madison announces Thanksgiving garbage, recycling, trash schedules

The City of Madison announced changes this week to the regular garbage, recycling and trash schedules because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Below is a list of what will change and what will remain the same:

 

Garbage:

Thursday’s routes will be collected on Friday, Nov. 23.

Recycling:

Recycling will remain on schedule with pick up occurring on Wednesday, Nov. 21.

Trash:

Monday-Wednesday (Nov. 19-21), trash will remain on schedule.

There will be no pick up on Thursday, Nov. 22, as City facilities will be closed.

Thursday’s routes will be collected Friday, Nov. 23.

Friday’s routes will be collected Saturday, Nov. 24.
