Randolph School to host Under the Christmas Tree this weekend

HUNTSVILLE – To help kick off the upcoming holiday season, Randolph School will host Under the Christmas Tree this weekend. The three-day holiday shopping marketplace features specialty merchants from our local community and around the southeast region. There are also many special events that families can sign up to participate in. Here are the details and schedule of events:

Dates, Times & Location:

Friday, Nov. 4 10:00am–6:00pm | Saturday, Nov. 5 10:00am–6:00pm | Sunday, Nov. 6 12:00pm–5:00pm; Von Braun Center South Hall

Online Ticket Purchases & Special Event Registration:

$20 Weekend Pass, $10 Daily, $5 Seniors (age 65+), and children under 12 free. Available for purchase in advance here online or at the event.

Mimosas at the Market

Friday, November 4, 8:00a.m. – 10:00a.m.
$30 per person includes one weekend pass, two mimosas, refreshments, and special discounts from most vendors. Get early access to shop and beat the crowds before the market opens to general admission ticket holders.

Ornament Wreath

Friday, November 4, 10:30a.m. – 12:00p.m.

$50 per person (includes one Market Day Pass)

Enjoy a mimosa while crafting with friends! You will walk away from this adults-only, instructor-led event with a wreath you can enjoy for years to come. All supplies included with purchase. (Note: For adults age 21+ only.)

Gingerbread House Kits

Friday, November 4, 3:00p.m. – 6:00p.m.
Saturday, November 5, 11:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. & 3:00p.m. – 6:00p.m.

Sunday, November 6, 12:00p.m. – 4:00p.m.

$25 per person (includes one Market Day Pass)

All Gingerbread House kits come festively wrapped with a wooden house, icing, candy, and all you need to create a perfect holiday treat. You can preorder or purchase at will call and The Special Events room. Take a kit home to decorate or at the market during any of the come-and-go time slots.

Storytime with Santa
Saturday, November 5, 10:30a.m. – 11:30a.m.

$30 (includes one Market Day Pass and a book.)

Children of all ages are invited to a special visit with Santa, who will read The Night Before Christmas. Children under 7 must be accompanied by a parent and each person must have a ticket. You will also create an ornament with help from Santa and Mrs. Clause to take home.

Elf University

Saturday, November 5, 1:30p.m. – 3:00p.m.

$25 (includes one Market Day Pass)

Randolph’s Lower School Science Teacher, Kelley Wolfe, will get your holiday helper revved up for the season with these fun stations to visit, including toy making, elf etiquette, present wrapping, and North Pole field games.

Cookies with Santa

$20 (includes one Market Day Pass)

Sunday, November 6, 1:00p.m. – 1:30p.m.

Come enjoy The Night Before Christmas, read by Santa himself! Enjoy special time with Santa and Mrs. Claus and take home a tasty treat.
