MADISON – This year’s Madison Bowl comes with an extra helping of pre-game hype.

The Trash Pandas is hosting “Rivalry Night” at its August 30 baseball game dedicated to the Bob Jones vs James Clemens football rivalry, which will be played Friday, September 2.

There will also be a school supplies and hygiene drive for fans to drop off at the stadium.

SOS is donor-supported fund will provide help for MCS students who may struggle paying for a yearbook, class field trip, ACT prep assistance, tutoring, academic fee, cap and gown – any out-of-pocket expense related to a school function, class or extra-curricular.

Bob Jones and James Clemens cheerleaders will perform, as well as drum corps from each school.

The Trash Pandas organization issued this statement: “As a Madison City facility, we find it important to recognize and spotlight the students, educators and public service workers within the Madison City education system. Rivalry Night 2022 will be dedicated to the existing rivalry between Bob Jones and James Clemens as they prepare to face off in the Madison Bowl football game that following Friday.
