Central Valley Church to host free sing-along Dec. 10
Hot chocolate, a free concert and family fun! What could be more festive?
Central Valley Church of Christ will host a free Christmas Sing-along on Friday, Dec. 10 from 6-8 PM at 9581 Madison Boulevard in Madison, Alabama.
The sing-along and concert will feature local husband and wife band, Dean.
In addition to musical entertainment, the church family will offer family-friendly games, kid crafts, hot chocolate and snacks.
One of the church’s elders, Garner Ezell of Athens said, “As families make plans for the holiday season, they will not want to miss Central Valley’s Christmas concert. It will be a fun, family-friendly, and energetic evening that will appeal to all ages. Families will enjoy the holiday classics and singalongs that may have them singing all the way home.”
Jackie Carter of Madison has been attending Central Valley for almost three years. She says, “I hope the community will come down and join us for our sing-along. Central Valley always hosts friendly, family-oriented events. This one will be a treat for the family!”
Central Valley is eager to open its doors to the community again, after a season of caution due to high COVID-19 numbers.
In spite of its short-term closure, the church members maintained close bonds with each other via online worship services and small Zoom groups on Wednesday evenings.
Central Valley Church of Christ will celebrate its fifth year in spring 2022. The church was planted by Central Church of Christ in Athens, Alabama in 2015 to reach the local communities of east Limestone and west Madison.
