The Madison City Orchestra will return to the stage for a performance this weekend. They will present a concert Oct. 24 at 4 p.m.  The performance will be held at the Madison United Methodist Church, 127 Church St, Madison. Admission is free and suitable for all ages.

Experience the sounds of modern cinema’s greatest music featuring the music of John Williams. This concert will include the orchestra performing the breadth of Williams’ music — from iconic Star Wars and Indian Jones as well as music from E.T to Harry Potter.

In addition to fun cinema music we will also be playing a lovely classical piece called Poem for Orchestra featuring a beautiful duet by the flute and harp.
