MADISON – Alabama will likely break 1,000 mark of statewide cases of coronavirus before the sun rises Wednesday morning. The official count is at 999 tonight at 8 p.m. Madison County has reached 100 cases with Limestone at 22.
The death toll keeps rising too. The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is saying 24 people have reportedly died from coronavirus. They have verified 13 of those were killed by the illness and are investigating the other claims. Madison County still has one confirmed death from COVID-19.
ADPH reports that 7,249 people have been tested so far.
