Madison County now has 17 cases of coronavirus
The Alabama Department of Public Health reported earlier today that there are now 167 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in Alabama. No deaths have been reported. There have been 1,832 patients tested across the state. Madison County continues to see an increase in cases, which now stands at 17.
Madison Mayor Paul Finley sent a statement earlier saying a City of Madison employee has tested positive. The employee worked in the engineering department and is now recovering at home.
