New Publix store on Wall Triana Highway holds grand opening tomorrow

HARVEST – Publix Super Markets will open a new store tomorrow morning with a ribbon cutting and a grand opening at The Shops at Pine Grove on Wall Triana Highway north of Madison.

“We are proud to open our sixth Madison location,” said Brenda Reid, Publix Media and Community Relations Manager. “Publix is known for providing excellent customer service in an inviting environment filled with a variety of fresh products and services. We are excited to continue to grow in Madison.”

The new location is a 48,000 square-foot store bringing 120 new jobs to the area.  The store will have traditional grocery, dairy and frozen food departments along with several specialty departments.

Reid said the new store will feature a full-service deli, bakery Aprons Simple Meals cooking demonstrations, full-service meat and seafood departments and a pharmacy.

Publix is privately owned and operated by its more than 200,000 employees. Currently, Publix has 1,226 stores in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia.
