Place flags, feel pride for Veterans Day

MADISON – Madison American Legion, Post 229 will conduct its annual placement of U.S. flags on gravesites of military personnel on Saturday.
Anyone can volunteer to help with this project. Start time on Nov. 10 will be 9 a.m. at Madison Memory Gardens, north of Madison City Hall, 100 Hughes Road.
“We will place flags on our veterans’ gravesites. We invite our community residents and organizations to come out and lend a hand,” Commander Larry Vannoy said.
“As always the members of the Madison American Legion, Post 229 thank you for your support,” Vannoy said.
