Women of Wisdom to hold jobs workshop at library

MADISON – Newcomers to the workforce or anyone interested in an up-to-date resume can gain insight at the “Job Preparedness Workshop,” presented by Women of Wisdom LLC at Madison Public Library.

The workshop will be held Aug. 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 .m. The workshop is free and open to anyone who is at least 18 years old.

“Join us, the very talented ladies from Women of Wisdom, as we get you prepared for your dream job,,” Vivian DeSouza said. DeSouza is CEO of Women of Wisdom, The Complete Woman LLC.

“Whether you have an interview coming up and want to get your resume looked at or you are just beginning the job hunt and need some pointers, this workshop will be beneficial to you,” DeSouza said.

“Get ready for this amazing event as they inform, motivate and educate with resources needed to help you excel and succeed in your career path,” DeSouza said. “You don’t want to miss this amazing opportunity.”

“We are really excited to bring the Women of Wisdom ladies to the library because of the demand we see for developing job readiness skills,” Adult Services Librarian Anne Wood said. “Every single day, I help at least one patron create, print or submit a resume to potential employers.”

Madison librarians just want to offer their patrons the opportunity to put their best foot forward. “I really believe in the mission of Women of Wisdom and their focus on building people up and pushing them to their highest potential — professionally and personally,” Wood said.

The Women of Wisdom organization focuses on teaching women about biblical principles and their applications in daily life. The organization caters to the needs of the “complete woman”.

Women of Wisdom educate other women on cultivating and nourishing healthy, happy relationships. They advise about keeping a fit and healthy body regardless of age, personal budgets, managing finances, eliminating debt and finding a rewarding, fulfilling career.

Women of Wisdom events include Christian women’s conferences, intensive Bible studies, career readiness classes and one-day seminars.
