Trash Pandas to host Gameday Job Fair

MADISON – To prepare for the inaugural 2021 baseball season, the Rocket City Trash Pandas will conduct the Gameday Job Fair at Toyota Field in Town Madison.

During the event on Feb. 27 at 10 a.m., the team will look for candidates with great energy and enthusiasm to work during Trash Pandas home games. These employees will help to create the best fan experience in baseball, according to team sources.

Positions are available across all departments. Ushers and Ticket Takers will be some of the first Trash Pandas employees that spectators will meet at Toyota Field. Suite Attendants will confirm that the premium accommodations are cleaned and organized for guests.

The Food & Beverage department will stay busy at the games and special events. Bartenders will handle the libations, and courteous and efficient Servers will accommodate guests.

The Kitchen area will need a Line Cook and Prep service for food, along with Kitchen Stewards to deliver the orders. Fryers will cook the popular snack items, and Concessions Attendants and Cashiers will take order and payments from customers.

Warehouse Workers and Concessions Support play an important role in behind-the-scenes work. Merchandise staff will sell authorized souvenirs and other retail items.

The Grounds Crew will keep the lawns and landscaping in tip-top condition. Slots also are open for the Production Crew, Housekeeping and Parking – Security who keep the property in order.

Interested candidates must be at least 16 years old with legal work status. Each interview will take about five minutes.

Before the interview, applicants must complete a job application. Applicants can download and fill out the form in advance. To access the application, visit trashpandasbaseball.com, and scroll to the Gameday Job Fair section. Click “Here” in the text description to download the form.

In addition, applications will be available at the stadium. Applicants interviewing for multiple positions also can fill out job preference sheets.

Safety mandates from the Centers for Disease Control and Madison County COVID force will be followed at the job fair. Interviews will be conducted in a socially distant manner. Visitors must wear a mask.
