Senior Center plans luau

MADISON – Members of Madison Senior Center will wish sunny ‘alohas’ to visitors at their upcoming tropical luau.

The center’s luau party will start at noon on June 27. Organizers will serve snacks and host games of skill and chance. Guests will be eligible for door prizes.

“Please come and say, ‘Aloha,’ to the staff at the senior center,” activities director Robin Watson said. “Wear bright colors or island-style tops.” Entertainment for the luau will be the presentation of the hula by skilled dancers.

For more information, call 256-772-6242.

In addition, Madison Senior Center will have host a Father’s Day celebration on June 15. Participants will enjoy snacks, prizes and games.

Any resident of Madison who is at least 60 years old is welcome to join Madison Senior Center. The center’s address is 1282 Hughes Road, just south of Discovery Middle School. For more information, call 256-772-6255.
