Woman, son robbed at gunpoint

According to police, the woman said she was at home with her son just after 2:00 Thursday morning located in the 2400 block of Old Blue Spring Road in Huntsville when she heard someone knock on the door. When she opened it to see what was going on, and that’s when two men pointed guns at her face.

The men forced their way inside, put the woman on the ground, and tied her hands behind her back with tape.  The men went through the apartment taking money and other property.

The woman managed to get free, got her son, went to her neighbor’s apartment and called police.  When police arrived the two men had fled the area.
