Brooks hosts Academy Day

HUNTSVILLE – U.S. Congressman Mo Brooks will host “Academy Day” on Sept. 27 for high school students interested in attending a United States Service Academy.

The event will be held at Madison Academy’s cafeteria, 325 Slaughter Road from 2 to 4 p.m. All high school students, parents and teachers in Alabama’s 5th Congressional District are welcome to attend.

Guests can meet representatives from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Coast Guard Academy and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. Academy representatives will answer questions and distribute information about their respective institutions.

Brooks will make brief remarks and be available for comment. Reservations are not required but preferred. To register, email to Lauren Vandiver at lauren.vandiver@mail.house.gov.
