Madison County Democrats elect Osborne as Vice Chair

MADISON COUNTY – Members of the Madison County Democratic Party have elected Latoya Osborne to serve as their Vice Chair.

“Latoya brings a wealth of experience and energy to our team and will be a wonderful asset to the county party in this new role,” Antony Daniels said. Daniels is an Alabama State Representative, serves as House Minority Caucus leader and chairs the Madison County Democratic Party.

“Her strengths are just what we need as we enter the next election cycle,” Daniels said in endorsing Osborne for the position.

A native of Huntsville, Osborne is a product of New Century Technology High School and Tuskegee University. She is an Emerge America alumna (Alabama Chapter) and a recipient of the “Top 20 Under 40 Award” presented by the International Church of God in Christ.

Osborne’s career has spanned many areas of the legal and defense industry, where she regularly manages communications, administers budgets and manages business development. Simultaneously with that high-level work, Osborne is involved with fostering strong relationships among stakeholders.

“I set two simple priorities for myself: expanding our committee by recruiting a diverse and capable slate of people to join our party and, perhaps most importantly, recruiting and electing exceptional democratic candidates,” Osborne said.

The Madison County Democrats believe in the equality of all people, the power of education, the dignity of work and individuals’ responsibility to each other, especially the least of these, according to a spokesperson for the local Democratic agency.

The Democratic Party of Madison County promotes and supports progressive ideals and candidates throughout local communities.
