MADISON – Families of juniors at Bob Jones High School will have two opportunities to attend a session that will explain expectations for the student’s upcoming senior year.

Kathryn Champion, Bob Jones’ new college and career advisor, will conduct meetings on March 31 from noon to 1 p.m. and April 2 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Parents are urged to attend and are welcome to bring their lunch on March 31.

Madison Board of Education recently named Champion as Bob Jones’ new advisor to replace Sheila Roberts, who was appointed as district college and career advisor for Madison City Schools.

“Kathryn comes to us from the University of Alabama, where she served as an admissions recruiter,” Roberts said. “With her experience on the other side of the admissions process, she brings a wealth of knowledge about college applications, scholarships and financial aid.”
