I-565 lanes close in Madison for construction

MADISON – The I-565 bypass, Exit 7 in Madison will have lane closures through March 4.

Lanes are closed on I-565 North and South at Exit 7 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Sunday through Thursday and between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

These closures are necessary as construction continues, weather permitting, on the new interchange at I-565 and County Line Road. The Exit 7 ramp of I-565 East and a portion of Madison Boulevard west of County Line Road remain closed.

City officials urge motorists to use alternate routes, observe speed limits and signage in work zones and use extreme caution in this area.
