Man accidentally shoots self in leg outside Finnegan’s Pub

A man shot himself in the leg Sunday night in the parking lot of Finnegan’s Pub in Huntsville, according to the Huntsville police.
Huntsville resident Cory Allen Glass, 26, told Huntsville police officers his .38 special revolver accidentally fired when he fell while walking across the parking lot. Police said a witness verified the statement by Glass.
Glass was taken to Huntsville Hospital with non life-threatening injuries by HEMSI.
Glass had a concealed weapons permit. The pistol was taken into evidence, but no charges are currently pending.
