MADISON – The wrestling team at Discovery Middle School earned second place in the North Alabama Middle School Championships.

As runners-up in the tourney, Discovery scored within six points of the championship.

Discovery wrestlers who brought home medals are Zaevian Toney, Cameron Jefferson, Parker Snyder, Jordan Whalen, George Frankovitch, Ashton Iverson, Seth Dupree, Harold Gilmore, Zaevian Toney and Harold Gilmore.

During this year’s season, the Discovery Wrestling Team won the Patriot Open, Sparkman Invitational and finished third in the Arab meet.
