Professional Sign Solutions answers sign needs

Professional Sign Solutions, a new business on Jetplex Circle in Madison, wraps up clients’ needs with signage and advertising.

Owner Chuck Makarov said his full-service sign and vehicle wrap company “offers cutting-edging printer technology and state-of-the-art machinery.”

“The experienced and professional team will work closely with you to create distinctive sign messaging and maximize your marketing budget,” he said.

Professional Sign Solutions designs and creates custom murals, outdoor signage, tradeshow needs, vehicle graphics, interior storage and graphic design.

“We offer all those signs,” Makarov said. “We’re a one-stop shop for customers that want to increase their image recognition in the marketplace or with other promotional signs.”

Customers frequently order vehicle wraps, “a very popular way for businesses to advertise,” Makarov said. “They have the best ROI (return on investment) per view.”

The business is not part of a franchise. “I’m part of a larger sign organization, basically a buying group, but I am independently owned,” he said.

“Customer Focused, Deadline Driven” is their tagline. “We give as much attention to a customer with a $50 order as we do to a customer with a $10,000 order,” Makarov said.

Keeping customer focus is Makarov’s secret to success. “I built this company to support our customers. Their image is our business,” he said.

Pete Bickel is sales manager. Robert Lutrick, the senior sign technician and graphic designer, has 20 years of experience with companies like Lockheed Martin, Motorola and the Huntsville Stars.

Jenny Black’s role is sign tech/graphic designer. The Auburn University graduate has helped with product designs for the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Huntsville Museum of Art and WonderWorks Museum.

In 2009, Makarov relocated to Madison from Michigan to run a Decatur company, which was sold in 2011. “I liked it so much here that I wanted to stay,” he said. “I felt Madison/Huntsville was the perfect area to start a business.”

Professional Sign Solutions is open on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 117 Jetplex Circle, Suite 11.
