Behavioral analyst to explain strategies to parents at Central Office
MADISON – On Tuesday evening, Madison City Schools is hosting a session to help parents encourage positive behavior in their children.
The free event will run from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Central Office board room, 211 Celtic Drive on Nov. 19.
Kristyn Turney, a board-certified applied behavioral analyst, will explain topics to guide parents in dealing with various behavioral issues in the home. Parents can learn techniques on handling tantrums and argumentative outbursts, positive language and reinforcement versus punishment.
