State Sen. Holzclaw to give session on online legislative information

State Sen. Bill Holtzclaw will be at the Madison Public Library Monday, Aug. 27 to give a workshop on the Alabama Legislative Information System Online.

ALISON is a system open to the public that tracks bills through the legislative process.

The free workshop on ALISON will be at the library from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

“ALISON is fairly easy to navigate, but it has a couple of quirks that new users often need assistance with,” Holtzclaw said. “I’ve been able to assist several people in navigating ALISON and have decided to host a couple of work sessions this summer to walk residents through the system. At this session I will show residents how to follow legislation from start to finish – to the point it is signed into law.”

Holtzclaw suggests brining a laptop to the workshop to follow along through the navigation of the system.
