Peggy Ann Owen, 75, of Madison passed away Aug. 6.

Peggy was a wonderful Christian woman who loved all her family very much. She loved it when the family got together for Thanksgiving or any special occasion. She was not only blessed by the family, but she was a blessing to the family and many others who knew her and loved her. Peggy will not soon, if ever, be forgotten because of her great, compassionate heart and love for others.

Survivors include her sister, Rosa Sharp Sisco of Huntsville; son, Victor Owen of Lewisburg, Tenn.; daughters, Glenda Graves and Cheryl Manley of Indiana; grandchildren, Nathan Owen, Rachel Lauderdale, Jeremiah Hamer, Naomi Owen, Casey Graves, and Harley Wells; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Aug. 9, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service was be at 3 p.m. Aug. 10, at the funeral home with Pastor Carol Simon officiating. Burial was in Huntsville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, or to Hospice of North Alabama.
