Harry Johnstone Cosper, 71, of Madison, died June 19, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Cosper; and a brother, George Cosper.
He was a graduate of the University of Montevallo and was a 32nd degree Mason of the Lunar Lodge. He was a member of the City of Huntsville Police Department for 31 years.
He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Cosper Turner of Huntsville; son, Harry Preston Cosper of Huntsville; three grandchildren, Joshua Lee Turner, Whitney Leigh Turner, and Ryan Samuel Haraway; and a brother, Walter Cosper of Las Vegas.
Memorial service was held June 22 at Valhalla Memory Gardnen, Laughlin Service Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fallen Officer’s Memorial Fund in his memory.
