Christie Hensler to lead women’s workshop at Blue Apple Books

MADISON – Christie Hensler, an author and speaker, will facilitate a women’s leadership workshop, “Lead Without Limits,” at Blue Apple Books.

Blue Apple Books’s address at 14 Main St., Suites B and C in downtown Madison. The workshop on March 4 will run from 6 to 8 p.m.

Hensler’s “powerful two-hour workshop will encourage ambitious women ready to own their leadership style,” Robin Dauma, owner of Blue Apple Books, said. Hensler’s thoughts can inspire women “ready to lead with unshakeable confidence.” The session will include an opportunity for a professional headshot.

Hensler’s brand and message differ from the industry standard. “I firmly believe that every human being wants to be seen, heard and understood at their core. This belief fundamentally shapes how I approach coaching and speaking, setting me apart in the industry,” Hensler said.

Unlike standard presentations that rely on Power-Point slides and one-way communication, Hensler creates dynamic experiences that blend live coaching, motivational speaking and active participation. “My sessions are built for connection and contribution, not passive consumption. Participants frequently tell me they appreciate how I speak ‘with them,’ rather than ‘at them,’” Hensler said.

“What truly differentiates my approach is authenticity — I only teach what I’ve personally lived,” Hensler said. “Every strategy and tool that I share has been tested in the trenches of real life.”

Hensler doesn’t give theoretical knowledge from a textbook. “It’s hard-won wisdom from personal experience,” she said. “When I talk about overcoming adversity or building resilience, I’m sharing battle-tested strategies that have worked not just for my clients, but in my own life first.”

“My greatest test of resilience has been a 30year battle with irrational fears, OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and relentless anxiety and panic attacks,” Hensler said. “While I made the personal choice to navigate this journey without medication, let me tell you . . . this path has not been for the faint of heart.”

“People remember my talks because they get an experience, not a lecture,” Hensler said.

Seating is limited to 20 guests. To register, visit blueapplebookstore. com/events.
