Rocket City Federal Credit Union establishes the “Detective Josh Moseley Fund” for assistance

MADISON COUNTY – The Madison County Sheriff’s Office is sharing a way the community can show some support and love to an officer injured in an accident on Wednesday.
Detective Josh Moseley was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident while working traffic control on I565 near Madison on July 17. The Sheriff’s office said he sustained multiple serious injuries throughout his body and has undergone several surgeries since the incident. Currently, he is receiving treatment in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at Huntsville Hospital.
“The Madison County Sheriff’s Office would like to express its gratitude to the community for their outpouring of support and concern for Detective Moseley’s well-being. We sincerely appreciate the many assistance offers and are committed to being there for him and his family during this challenging time,” a statement from Sheriff’s Office said.
Rocket City Federal Credit Union has established the “Detective Josh Moseley Fund” account to aid in Detective Moseley’s recovery. “The fund was created in response to the outpouring of support and admiration for Detective Moseley, a valued community member for many years,” the statement said. “The credit union is committed to helping Detective Moseley during this challenging time, and we invite the public to join us in our efforts. All donations will support Detective Moseley’s medical expenses and related costs.”
