Register now for Fantasy Playhouse classes

MADISON COUNTY – Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater & Academy has announced its Winter/Spring 2024 class schedule. The organization strives to build students’ voices, minds and imaginations.

Registration will remain open through Jan. 22, 2024, or until class spaces fill. Early-bird pricing (for discounts) will be available through Nov. 1.

Academy classes expand creativity for students from three years old to adults. The curricula focus on active listening, teamwork, self-confidence, concentration and critical thinking. (fantasyplayhouse.org/classes-and-camps)

Each weekday offers different classes. Early-bird pricing ends Nov. 1; prices increase by $10:

* “Elephant and Piggie Take the Stage!” – Monday, five- through seven-year-olds, 4 to 5 p.m., $185.

* Little Makers: Props & Puppets – Monday, seven- through 11-year-olds, 4 to 5:30 p.m., $185.

* American Sign Language or ASL for Theater – Monday, 13-year-olds and older, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., $170.

* Musical Theater Dance Fitness – Monday, 18-year-olds and older, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., $170.

* Lab 87: An Actor’s Conservatory – 12- through 18-year-olds, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m, fee TBD

* Homeschool: Acting & Improv – Tuesday, five- through 15-years-olds, 10 to 11 a.m., $170.

* Homeschool: Musical Theatre – Tuesday, five- through 15-years-olds, 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., $170.

* Mickey Mouse Playhouse – Tuesday, three- and four-year-olds, 4 to 5 p.m., $170.

* Sing Disney! Dance Disney! – Tuesday, five- through seven-year-olds, 4 to 5 p.m., $170.

* On-Camera Acting for Kids – Tuesday, seven- through 12-year-olds, 4 to 5 p.m., $170.

* “Shrek the Musical Jr.” – Tuesday, 12- through 18-year-olds, 5 to 7 p.m., $245.

* Group Voice – Tuesday, eight- through 11-year-olds, 5:15 to 6:15 p.m., $170.

* Young Actors’ Workshop – Tuesday, 10- through 12-year-olds, 5:15 to 6:15 p.m., $170.

* Voice-Over Acting – Wednesday, 11-year-olds and older, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. $170.

* Costuming & Sewing Cohort – Wednesday, 11-year-olds and older, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., $185.

* Technical Theater Cohort – Wednesday, 11-year-olds and older, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., $185.

* Outer Space Adventures – Thursday, three- and four-year-olds, 4 to 5 p.m., $170.

* Superhero Stories – Thursday, five- through seven-year-olds, 4 to 5 p.m., $170.

* Musical Theatre I – Thursday, seven- through nine-year-olds, 4 to 5 p.m., $170.

* Intro to Music Theory – Thursday, 12-year-olds and older, 4 to 5 p.m., $170.

* Musical Theatre II – Thursday, 10- through 12-year-olds, 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., $170.

* Actor’s Playground – Thursday, seven- through nine-year-olds, 5:15 to 6:15 p.m., $170.

* On-Camera Acting – Thursday, 13-year-olds and older, 5:15 to 6:15 p.m., $170.

* Musical Theatre Dance: “& Juliet” – Friday, 12-year-olds and older, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., $170.

* Theatrical Makeup Cohort – Friday, 11-year-olds and older, 4:15 to 5:15 p.m., $185.
