Mozaic to host ‘Blues Brews & Boos’ for Enable

MADISON – More than superstitions will chill the air on Friday the 13th of October when Mozaic Smart Technology Design hosts the seventh annual “Blues Brews & Boos” fundraiser.

This year’s Halloween-themed event will benefit Enable Madison County (formerly named CASA of Madison County). The fun will run from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Mozaic studio, 816 Palmer Road, Suite B in Madison.

Because of residents’ generosity over the years, this ‘little fundraiser that could’ has been able to raise more than $25,000 for local charities and foundations, organizers said.

The mission of Enable Madison County, this year’s beneficiary, is to enable the aging and homebound to live at home independently, safely and with dignity. Their “Aging in Place” program provides volunteer services for special physical and emotional needs to allow these citizens to remain in their homes.

Blues Brews & Boos promises an evening filled with live music, spooky fun, truly fantastic prizes, delectable appetizers and refreshing beverages.

Organizers encourage guests to wear Halloween costumes. Whether a witch or goblin, prince or pauper, deck out and masquerade for the occasion. Volunteers will transform Mozaic Studio with a Halloween aura.

While enjoying the night, guests will support an outstanding, local charity and stand a chance to win some fantastic prizes. “Get your tickets – or donate – and be entered to win some great prizes, even if you can’t attend the event,” according to a spokesperson.

Talented musician Trey Allred will deliver live music to kick up some (live) spirits at the party.

Donations easily passed the $2,000 mark by late September. Organizers ask the public to keep the momentum going for Enable.

Ticket price is $25 and two prize tickets. With each $25 donation, a guest also will receive two prize tickets. Guests do not have to be present to win prizes. Guests can buy additional prize tickets at the event.

Mozaic Inc. is an award-winning custom audio/video installation firm. The company was founded on the principle of bringing the Tennessee Valley a fresh approach where design, reliability and simplicity are emphasized as much as sound and image quality. Their designs range from flat-panel television installation to a fully automated system for a residence or business. (mozaicav.com)
