Huntsville International Airport nominated for best small airport in US, needs your vote

HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville has gotten accustomed to superlatives lauding our community as the best place to live, work, and raise a family, but now an effort is underway to secure one more — #1 Small Airport in the U.S.

USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards has included Huntsville International Airport (HSV) as one of 20 contenders for 2023 accolades. HSV was voted #1 Small Airport in 2020 and #2 behind Myrtle Beach in 2021. No contest was held in 2022.

According to the contest website, the USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards highlight top-notch attractions and businesses, providing readers with trusted recommendations.

Voting began on Monday, Sept. 4 and continues until Monday, Oct. 2 at 11:59 a.m. EDT (10:59 CDT). Voters may cast their ballots for HSV once daily throughout the contest and may vote from different devices including their mobile phones, tablets, and laptop and desktop computers.
