UAH men’s lacrosse ranked nationally for first time in program history

HUNTSVILLE – The University of Alabama in Huntsville men’s lacrosse team has appeared in the national rankings for the first time in program history this week as No. 19 in both the USILA/Dynamic Coaches’ Poll and Nike USA Lacrosse Division II weekly rankings.

UAH previously received votes in both the USA Lacrosse rankings and the USILA coaches’ poll.

The Chargers enter the week as the only team from the Peach Belt Conference in the national rankings, as UAH holds a 7-3 overall record ahead of the conference schedule.

UAH opens up PBC play this weekend at Lander on Saturday at 12 p.m. CT, after topping Lewis 8-6 on Saturday to wrap up the regular season nonconference slate.
