MCS to present workshop about children’s self-confidence

MADISON – Madison City Schools is continuing its “Mental Health Matters” series into 2023 with the workshop, “Building Self-Confidence in Youth.”

This latest session will be held at Madison Public Library, 130 Plaza Blvd. on Jan. 18 from 4 to 5 p.m. This discussion will interest parents who want insights on ways to improve self-confidence in their children.

A local professional in the mental health field will conduct the “Building Self-Confidence in Youth” session. Topics will include improving communication skills, refining listening skills and promoting healthier relationships.

The session also will cover ways that confidence is diminished and built back, along with keeping connection with our children and teenagers. To register for the workshop, visit madisoncity.k12.al.us/domain/2411.
