Kelley Murphy Named Girls Soccer Coach At Madison Academy

After four seasons as an assistant coach for the Madison Academy girls soccer program, Kelley Murphy has been named head coach by the private school located in Madison. Murphy has also coached club soccer programs and holds the U.S. Soccer D-License and United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Level II certificate. She played collegiate soccer at SUNY College of New York as a goalkeeper. In her tenure in goal her teams made two appearances in the NCAA Soccer Tournament. Murphy has a master’s of science degree in Atmospheric Science from Texas Tech and a bachelors of Science in Meteorology from SUNY. She is currently employed as a Research Associate of Meteorology at UAH. Photo- Madison Academy Athletics
