Madison teen charged with murder after allegedly shooting brother

MADISON – Madison Police said Monday they arrested a teen for the shooting death of the suspect’s brother.

According to officials, 18-year-old Timmie Dewayne Thomas Jr. was arrested and charged with murder after police were called to Madison Pines Apartment at 340 Gillespie Road. They identified the victim as Darrius King, Thomas’ brother. The shooting allegedly stemmed from an argument on Friday.

Thomas was taken to the Madison County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
