POSTPONED: Public meeting at noon today to discuss city manager issue
The city of Madison sent out a notice Monday morning postponing a planned meeting to discuss the city manager issue. The announcement stated, “Due to unforeseen circumstances the Governance Transition meeting scheduled for today at noon has been postponed until a future date. As soon as we are able to reschedule our panel and secure the location we will re-announce this meeting.”
REMINDER: The city-sponsored meeting to discuss the proposed transition to a city manager-council form of government structure for Madison will be held today at the Madison Public Library, 142 Plaza Blvd. The meeting starts at noon and will be moderated by city council-member Renae Bartlett. It will include Mayor Paul Finley and Auburn Mayor Ron Anders. Auburn has a city manager-council form of government. Anders will be able to answer questions about his role as mayor in that structure.
