Jeremiah’s Italian Ice opens August 2 in Madison

A highly anticipated opening is almost here, just in time to help beat the heat. Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is opening its Madison location on August 2.

In 1988, high schooler Jeremy Litwack started selling Italian Ice out a push-cart in Philadelphia. After learning the craft of fine frozen dessert-making, Litwack opened the first Jeremiah’s brick-and-mortar location in Winter Park, Florida in 1996. Today, the franchise boasts more than 40 flavors of delicious Italian ice for endless combinations.

Starting with the Madison location, Todd and Alexis Bentley are bringing the franchise to north Alabama. Jeremiah’s Italian Ice’s Madison location is the first of three coming to north Alabama. The Madison location will also be the first location of all the Jeremiah’s Italian Ice franchises to have a kids play area for the perfect, family-friendly gathering place.

The team is also looking to hire soon. Anyone interested in serving up Jeremiah’s famous Italian ice, gelati, or soft ice cream can apply here.
