BUSINESS: Bank Independent on the Forbes’ “Best-In-State Banks 2022” list

MADISON – Bank Independent has been named on the Forbes list of Best-In-State Banks 2022. This is the third consecutive year Bank Independent has appeared on the list. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was announced on June 21st, 2022 and can currently be viewed on the Forbes website.

“As we strive to fulfill our vision of being the bank of choice in our communities, the Forbes Best-In-State Banks honor is very encouraging since it directly reflects the voice of our customers,” said Rick Wardlaw, CEO of Bank Independent. “We are proud of the trust our customers place in us to be their financial services provider.”

Forbes and Statista identified Best-In-State Banks 2022 based on an independent survey of approximately 26,000 US consumers who were asked to rate banks at which they have or previously have had checking accounts. Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction; they also assessed banks in the following areas: Trust, Terms & Conditions, Branch Services, Digital Services, Customer Service, and Financial Advice.

Based on the results of the study, Bank Independent is ecstatic to be recognized on the Forbes list of Best-In-State Banks 2022 and proud of the consistency that has maintained their inclusion on this prestigious list throughout the last three years.

Bank Independent operates a branch on Hwy 72 in Madison and is building another branch on County Line Road.
