Fire in Limestone County involving 24 vehicles contained
Athens Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Jeff Jones said the fire in the 15000 block of Hastings Road has been contained.
East Limestone Volunteer Fire Department and Piney Chapel Volunteer Fire Department responded. The property is not in the city limits, but Athens Fire was called out as mutual aid at 2:06 p.m.
Jobes said 24 vehicles on the property were impacted.
