Madison CEO Trade Show to showcase student-run businesses

MADISON – Here is a great way to support a wonderful program in Madison. The Madison CEO Program will host a student business showcase on Saturday, May 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It will be held at Signalink, 1208 Slaughter Road in Madison.

The Madison CEO Program provides entrepreneurship education to prepare people, especially youth, to be responsible, enterprising individuals who become entrepreneurs or entrepreneurial thinkers and contribute to economic development and sustainable communities.

The CEO program is much more than a textbook course. Rather, students are immersed in real life learning experiences with the opportunity to take risks, manage the results, and learn from the outcomes.  During this class, students start a class business as well as their own individual business.

The trade show will be the culmination of their experience and showcase their student-run business.

For more information about the program, go to www.madisonalceo.com.
