School systems will either close or hold virtual learning for Thursday

Local school systems will either use various forms of remote instruction Thursday or close because of potential road hazards from wintry weather.

Madison City Schools will hold a virtual learning day for all students Thursday. The school campuses will be closed.

Madison County School System will be closed for all students and staff. This includes all extracurricular activities.

St. John Paul II Catholic High School, Madison Academy and Limestone County Schools will also be closed on Thursday.

Decisions will be made tomorrow concerning classes on Friday.
