A decade of music: James Clemens High School Marching Band to present Sounds of the Stadium

Enjoy a high-energy stadium band performance in the comfort of the theater

The James Clemens High School Marching Band presents the tenth annual “Sounds of the Stadium” event Tuesday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. The show features the James Clemens Marching and Competition Bands along with the Liberty Middle School Marching Band. The show will be held in the James Clemens High School Auditorium in Madison.

The bands will perform fan favorite stands tunes and the 2021 football halftime show “Journey,” based on the music of the popular 80’s rock band. The band will also showcase its competition program “Like Water.” The full band, dance line, and color guard will participate.

“Our Sounds of the Stadium event takes the show off the field and literally surrounds the audience with the performance,” said band director Keith Anderson. “The students are on the stage and in the aisles; it’s a totally immersive experience.”

A dessert reception and silent auction will immediately follow the performance.

“Sounds of the Stadium is our major fundraiser,” Anderson noted. “Community support for these types of events allows us to continue to offer a high-quality band experience for all students, regardless of their personal economic situation. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share everything these students have worked so hard to achieve this year.”

Tickets are on sale now online and will be available at the door. The cost is $9 in advance or $10 the evening of the event. Children two and under are free.
