Jets upset with last-minute field goal by Oak Mountain

MADISON – The opening game of the first round of Class 7A state football playoffs saw the undefeated James Clemens Jets upset by Oak Mountain at Madison City Stadium.

The Jets overcame an early 21-0 deficit to tie the game going into the end of the fourth quarter when Oak Mountain kicked a last minute field goal securing the win.

Tonight, Madison City Stadium will be alive again Friday night as Bob Jones enters the first round of playoffs against Hewitt-Trussville.
