Dining expands with opening of Moe’s in Town Madison, Jonathan’s in Clift Farm

MADISON – Choices for restaurants in Madison have increased with openings in both Town Madison and Clift Farm.

Moe’s Original BBQ is near Toyota Field at 102 St. Louis St. in Town Madison’s The Heights neighborhood. The fast casual restaurant is serving its award-winning menu, which features a variety of smoked meats, fried fish and shrimp, salads, nachos, stuffed potatoes and a rotation of traditional Southern sides and house-made desserts.

Moe’s location is convenient to the lunch crowd for workers at Redstone Arsenal, Cummings Research Park and Madison businesses. Families can gather for an easy dinner while students from the University of Alabama in Huntsville can look forward to evenings full of happy hour, bingo, trivia and live music close to campus.

“With many seasons of baseball, concerts and fireworks on the horizon nearby, Moe’s Original BBQ will be the headquarters for pregame drinks, postgame hangouts and everything in between,” co-owner Mike Ellis said.

Moe’s layout encompasses 4,000 square feet with a large, covered patio and overhead doors. Its signature frozen alcoholic drink, the Bushwacker, will flow, along with dozens of other specialty drinks, cocktails and an assortment of beers on tap.

“USA Today” and “The Daily Meal” named Moe’s in the “Top 10 BBQ Chains in America” “Relish” included Moe’s in its list of “Top 10 Rib Joints in the U.S.” Full-service catering for parties and event is available.
