Harvest Pointe Methodist Church to host KC BBQ contest and Friends Day this Sunday

Harvest Pointe Methodist Church, 103 Gin Oaks Court in Madison, is hosting an official BBQ Contest by KC Barbecue Society on Sunday, Sept. 19.

According to evwnt organizers, BBQ Ribs is the one meat each of the 10 teams will be cooking.  They will start around 5 a.m with Judging beginning at 1 p.m.  The first place, second place and third place winners will be  announced at 2 p.m.

Sunday is also the church’s Friend Day. Everyone is invited at 10 a.m. for worship service.
