Jeff Tucker set for Let There Be Music, Madison concert on Aug. 12
MADISON – Jeff Tucker will heighten the audience’s spirit at the “Let There Be Music, Madison” concert on Aug. 12.
Old Black Bear at 212 Main St. in downtown Madison will provide the venue for the concert at 6 p.m.
Tucker considers that the major influences on his music have been Neil Young, Rickie Lee Jones, James Taylor and his brother Dave. Tucker’s style of music focuses on adult rock and variety.
He began performing professionally in New Orleans in 1977. While living in Toledo, Ohio, he played with the band On the Beach; since 2016, his act has been identified as “The Jeff Tucker Band.”
“The City of Madison is working to complete Home Place Park that will be the new venue for future music events,” Madison Arts Council President Tina Clark said. “MAC has partnered with Madison Visionary Partners to raise money not only for the park itself but future Arts programming in the park.”
“MAC and MVP have forged a new path to lead to better events to enrich the citizens of Madison,” Clark said.
