Madison Hospital Fundraiser offers socially distanced option for the perfect Valentine’s Date night

Event features rom-com favorite ‘When Harry Met Sally’ in a special drive-in movie experience

MADISON – Just like everything else, Valentine’s Day celebrations will have to look different this year. If you are searching for a fun but safe date night, Huntsville Hospital Foundation just announced an event that is perfect for you.

Party in the Park on Friday, Feb. 12, will feature one of the most popular romantic comedies of all time, When Harry Met Sally.  The Hexagon parking lot will transform for the evening into a drive-in movie lot where guests do not even have to leave the warmth and safety of their vehicles. Two showtime options are available – 5:30 and 8 p.m. – and each ticket includes the drive-in movie, a gourmet individually packaged dinner, access to an online silent auction and giveaways.

Even with this fun lineup, the best part is that it benefits a great cause. This is the ninth annual fundraising event for not-for-profit Madison Hospital, and funds raised will purchase a new imaging C-Arm machine for the hospital’s operating room. This state-of-the-art equipment takes in-motion, real-time imaging to help guide surgeons, and will be used for all types of surgeries, including orthopedic, pain procedures, abdominal, spine, and urological.

“This much-needed equipment would be a huge benefit for both our surgeons and our patients. Adding this level of technology further distinguishes Madison Hospital as a center of excellence for our growing community,” said Madison Hospital President Mary Lynne Wright. “I know everyone could use a special night away from home, and Party in the Park will be the perfect way to share a meal and a laugh in a socially distanced way. Please join us and support your local hospital through this creative event!”

Tickets for Party in the Park are $75 per person and can be purchased online at bidpal.net/party2021, or by calling (256) 265-8077. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
