Avery Seaton Commits To Alabama A&M Baseball

MADISON- “Alabama A&M is a place that will help me chase my dream,” said Avery Seaton after announcing he has verbally committed to play baseball at Alabama A&M.

The two-sport star at Madison Academy was recruited to play outfield and pitcher and said his dream was to always play college baseball and possibly make the professional ranks as well.

“They opened up their arms for me at the school including both the coaches and players,” said Seaton. “The school fits as I enjoy the campus and the environment.”

Seaton (5-10, 200) was Madison Academy’s starting quarterback and led the Mustangs to an undefeated regular season and a place in the AHSAA playoffs. He was named the Class 4A Region 7 Player of the Year for his outstanding play as signal caller where he amassed over 2,000 yards passing along with over 1,000 yards rushing accounting for over 40 touchdowns. In addtion, Seaton was named Honorable Mention All-State in Class 4A.

“I chose not to play football after high school as I wanted to focus on one sport,” said Seaton. “Choosing a college was an amazing experience and I can’t wait to start.”

Seaton wants to pursue a degree in business administration and will carry a 3.5 grade point average through his senior year at Madison Academy.
