Brooks to speak at Republican women’s October meeting

MADISON – U.S. Congressman Mo Brooks will be the featured speaker at the October meeting of Republican Women of Madison.

“Join us for lunch and to hear from U.S. Congressman Mo Brooks as he discusses the latest on the upcoming election, voter fraud speculation and what is happening in the U.S. House of Representatives,” RWM President Sheila Banister said.

The meeting will convene at the Best Western Plus, 9035 Madison Blvd. in Madison on Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. “Social distancing practices will be incorporated, and seating is limited to 40 people,” Banister said. The meeting will adjourn at 12:30 p.m.

Fee for an inclusive lunch is $15, which guests can pay at the venue by cash or check. “Please RSVP to rsvp@rwmadison.org by Oct. 20 at noon,” Banister said. “Cancellations are also required by noon on October 20.”

Republican Women of Madison meet on the third Wednesday of every month. “We open our event with a social starting at 11 a.m., with the main meeting called to order at 11:30 a.m. Each month we have a keynote speaker to address the group. Guests are typically political elected officials, candidates or topic experts.”

“Everyone is welcome to attend our luncheon and meetings and hear our speakers,” Banister said. Active full membership is open to any woman who supports the Republican Women of Madison’s objectives. Active members receive regular communications regarding upcoming events and the monthly newsletter, access to member-only sections of our website and have voting rights. Annual dues are $40.
