MCSO responds to deadly shooting in Harvest over fireworks
HARVEST – A Huntsville man was killed last night in Harvest over a dispute about fireworks, says the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the MCSO, deputies responded to a shooting scene at the 100 block of Cloverbrook Drive in Harvest just after midnight. During this incident, one black male was found deceased in the roadway from a gunshot wound to the chest. A suspect was later apprehended by investigators and charged with capital murder.
Investigators said they determined the victim, Keelan Andrews, 38, was shot from a vehicle that was occupied by the suspect, Montae Trevius Corbett, 18, of Harvest.
Investigators believe the motive of the shooting stems from an altercation over fireworks.
