Madison Hospital celebates the delivery of their first triplets

MADISON – The staff at Madison Hospital gathered last week to celebrate a momentous occasion: the first triplets delivered at the hospital. The Whalen triplets were born June 8, about six weeks early. Dr. Mark Purvis of OB-GYN Associates performed the C-section delivery, assisted by Dr. Rachel Acuff. Baby Knox was discharged from the Level II Special Care Nursery on June 20; Ryker and Nash went home last Thursday with parents Mark and Tiffany Whalen of Moulton. Madison Hospital reports that all are doing great.
